Rockefella makes jeans in raw denim made of cotton. When you wash these jeans they will change look as they have never been washed before.
Rockefellas dye colour is indigo which is a natural dyeing product that will bleed when washed. The water turns blue so wash with like colors and preferably with other jeans. The colour fades gradually, that makes the denim look alive and age in a lovely way.
Raw denim can cause dry rubbing so be aware with white sofas.
When you buy a pair of Rockefella raw denim jeans and you want to keep the original look there are some simple rules to follow:
- Do not wash your jeans too often. The quality is smooth and it is easy to wipe off stains and brush away sand from the all day playing. Let your kids wear and play in the jeans til they get well worn.
- Turn jeans inside out, wash at a low temperature: 30 degrees or rinse by hand. Use washing powder with no bleach.
- When they are washed, turn them to the right side again and shake them so they don't get a nasty staple effect.
Selana of Switzerland
Selana of Switzerland´s firm works with original merino wool from organically farmed livestock-mulesing free which has no antipilling and no antifelt treatment. To enjoy the full quality of the nature fibre the wool is left in its natural state and untreated as much as possible.
It should be washed only in lukewarm water or by using the washing machine´s woolprogramme (cold!). Do not use alkaline washing powders. The pilling should constantly be removed. Use a spoonful of vinegar for coloured parts in order to soften the wool and restore the original colours. Do not wring or centrifuge but put it in shape when moist and let it dry lying flat. If you treat our product carefully, you will be pleasured for a long time.
